Oh snap, It’s Classic Food Commercial Friday on EoE.
I recently tested a sweet potato chip here at work by a company called Food Should Taste Good. Not only do I agree with them, I think they should take their own advice. The chip was bland BUT… it was shaped like a Tato Skin!
My memories came calling. Then I remembered O’Boises. Clever name. I asked Rob if he remembered them to which he responded without pause: “Yes, they’re O’Boisterous.” Culture is nothing without shared histories, people.
So, they’re not entire gone. Sometimes when you stop at weird truck stop stores on road trips you can find snacks that are made under the TGIFriday’s brand, one of which is a potato skin chip.
Pretty much dead-on for O’Boises (which I loved as a kid).
Yeah weird truck stops and the greater Delaware Valley. There isn’t a single Wawa or Acme around here that doesn’t carry...
