As promised, my AP Politics, AP US History, AP European History (NERDS!) classes trip to DC meeting with our newly elected Rep. Rick Santorum. He barely looks older than us.

Don’t we look like a bunch of kids whose parents elected Santorum?

I posted this on my Facebook page and the comments have been hilarious.

“What I remember about this trip: listening to mix tape in my walkman on the bus featuring Bel Biv Devoe! Honestly,who was cooler than this pack of AP students?!”

“I seem to recall a reunion trip was promised.”

“Only AP students would demand a reunion trip to explore Gettysburg and our nation’s capitol.”

“I remember someone shouting ‘Clarence Thomas is spotted on the mall,’ and everyone stampeding to catch a look. Again, only an AP trip…”

“I did not even notice Santorum in the picture! I guess I was too busy trying to determine who had the highest bangs”

And oh, for the record? I’m not in the shot and neither is one of my BFFs — still BFFs all these years later! — since we’re taking the picture.
