The previous post being why I am never allowed in marketing meetings.
(Especially after I once snapped at a marketing person when they asked, “Why would anyone block pop-ads? People really do that?” a few years ago.)

Sat in on a daylong SEO meeting today. It was run by a fella who was not entirely dissimilar to the character Will Ferrell played on SNL where he yelled the above catchphrase constantly. Here are a few of the things he said today (which, I should note, have NOT been embellished in any way, shape…

I am going to die reading everyone’s Sundance Tweets this year.
Any of them could possibly be seeing TREE OF LIFE and I’m not particularly pretty when I’m green with envy.

If I recall correctly, I asked (ahem) Clare to do that for me and AJ’s girlfriend at the time was not. happy.
And I think she called me from the bar to tell me she had kissed him. (I myself was at the Rustic that night, as I remember walking out in front of the Chinese food/Coldwell Banker strip mall to hear Clare talk.)

Postcard 1/19/11, Self-absorbed scale.
Despite the half a plate of heart attack fries consumed this weekend, (plus the nachos, IC Lights, shots, Jameson, chicken tenders, chicken drumettes, kettle chips topped with fresh herbs and cheese, artichoke bites, ribs and Suffering Bastards), after hovering around 112 for nearly two months, I finally reached my 105-112 college weight goal. If I ever make it to 108, I’ll let you know.

With only three football games left in the 2010-2011 season (four if you include the ProBowl), the rhetoric surrounding the NFL owners and the National Football League Players Association regarding a possible player lockout is unfortunately starting to rise to a fever pitch as both camps work to get fans on their side of the argument. Email blasts sent directly to the fans from Commissioner Roger...

Scientists Claim NFL Did Not Take Into Account Earth’s Wobble in Realignment
“‘This is a big day for teams like the Louisville Colonels, who have been practicing all this time waiting to appear on the NFL schedule for nearly five generations now. Our report will hopefully right the wrong that is Indianapolis being considered part of the South,’ Sheppard read from a...

28 Days of Super Bowl Recipes: Potato Rosemary Pizzettes and Trash Talk
So in the spirit of hoping the Jets and the Patriots completely beat the crap out of each other on Sunday, I’ve come up a list of Henny Youngman-style insults in case either team (read:Patriots) needs some inspiration while improving their own trash talk.
“Cromartie’s wife has carried so many kids, Jerome Bettis refers...

The difference in calories between regular and fat-free cream cheese is the difference between Tom Brady’s and Rex Grossman’s DVOA. Sure they’re both labeled “quarterback” on the box, but which one would you rather have on your team? (As you can see from the picture below, this batch was made with a nice Matt Ryan-style of soft cheese.)
Actually, it’s all moving. I just haven’t...
